No power to the appliance

The appliance is not connected to the power source, there might be a blown fuse, or there is a power cut.

Check there is power at the socket, ensure the fuse has not blown, and verify there is no power cut by checking household lights.

The light does not come on

The bulb might be blown or the door light switch is jammed.

Replace the bulb if it has blown and check the door light switch.

The temperature in the freezer is too high

The thermostat control knob is not set correctly, or the ambient temperature is outside the appliance's operating limits.

Check the thermostat control knob is set correctly and that the ambient temperature is between 10°C and 32°C.

The freezer door will not open

The air pressure needs to equalize if the door has just been opened.

Leave the door for a few minutes to allow the air pressure to equalize.

Remove all securing tapes from the refrigerator. Wash the interior using lukewarm water mixed with bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using soap or detergent as it may leave a lingering smell. Dry thoroughly.

Positioning the Thermostat

For the first time setup or after a period of non-use, set the thermostat to a medium setting (3 or 4) and leave the appliance to stabilize for at least 4 hours before placing any food inside to be frozen.

Temperature Adjustment

The refrigerator temperature is controlled by a thermostat knob with 6 settings and one OFF position. 1 indicates minimum coldness and 6 indicates maximum coldness. Turn the knob to the desired temperature setting.
